SHED was set up as a forum for dyslexia specialists to share expertise and current practice. Since the first meeting in December 2002, members have discussed issues such as: assessment procedures; current DFES regulations; the impact of the dyslexic profile on the writing process in HE; fieldwork and placement; criticality; phonological research; academic skills.
