Monica Pellegrini

I have been a member of ADSHE since 2011 and one of the London regional co-ordinators since 2015, a role that I have thoroughly enjoyed as it has given me the opportunity to meet many members of ADSHE and share with them my professional experience.

I have always been passionate about teaching and empowering students with knowledge, exploring with them how they learn best and how they can apply what they have learnt in their personal and professional life. Seeing people change and become more self-confident, as they learn, is a very rewarding experience.

Before embarking on my current career as a specialist teacher and assessor, I have worked as a language tutor at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, as well as at various higher education institutions and businesses. I have also written articles both for academic journals and the press.
