The ADSHE Annual Conference 2020
Spanning neurodiversity: strategies for developing learning and assessing
Friday 12th June at Aston Conference Centre, Birmingham.
A whole host of keynotes, workshops, presentations and exhibitors for both members and non-members.
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Jane Sedgwick (UK Adult ADHD Network – UKAAN) and Dr. Anna Matthews (University Mental Health Advisors Network – UMHAN) are the two keynote speakers at this year’s conference.
Dr.Sedgwick is a tutor in mental health nursing at King’s College London. She is keen to develop a model of best practice for supporting university students with ADHD.
Dr. Matthews currently holds the chair of UMHAN and is a founder/director of UMO, a specialist mental health and well-being mentoring service.
Both speakers will be talking about co-occurring mental health concerns among HE students with neurodiversity – many assessors and specialist tutors are increasingly aware of these issues and want to know more in order to do their best for all students.
