My PhD would not exist without the wonderful SpLD tutors – co-inquirers – who took part in this research. We spent an academic year engaging with the work of Ahmed, Bourdieu, Freire, Giroux, Sen, hooks in Collaborative Inquiry Circles. There was a lot of discussion, fighting talk and laughs even in the middle a pandemic. We found that engaging with theories of social justice and critical pedagogy was transformative for us and for our practice. We would like to bring such transformation to others so watch this collaborative space!
