Every year ADSHE asks for nominations of members who they feel deserve recognition for outstanding contributions to teaching practice. We proudly present awards to the winners at our Annual Conference in June.
The categories are: 7-Principles®; Research and Innovation; Assistive Technology; Institutional; and the Practitioner Project Award.
The 7-Principles® Award recognises the contribution of a member to the ADSHE 7-Principles® and the Quality Assurance of dyslexia support.
The Assistive Technology Award recognises the sharing of good practice in integrating assistive technology within specialist SpLD support.
The Research & Innovation Award recognises the promoting and sharing of evidenced based practice and knowledge on issues of dyslexia/SpLD and/or the implementation or design of assistive technology to support those with an SpLD.
The Institutional Award recognises the work of a department or team working in further/higher education and their contribution to the promotion, support, diagnosis or recognition of dyslexia and the support of dyslexic students.
The Practitioner Project Award aims to innovate and spread good practice which enhances the professional reputation of ADSHE and contributes to enhanced learning and teaching or assessment
