Can you help students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) achieve their potential at university?
Working alongside students with SpLDs at all levels of study and across all disciplines, you will help them develop strategies for effective study at university. This will include delivering tutorials and workshops, and contributing to the development of self-access study resources, in areas such as academic writing, critical thinking, reading and researching, and time management. Working collaboratively with the wider University community, you will also play an active role in promoting inclusive approaches to learning, teaching and assessment.
With a degree or equivalent qualification, together with a postgraduate qualification, you will have excellent teaching and communication skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.
The post is available immediately on an indefinite, part-time basis (0.6FTE) and will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
